            Elizabeth Kelly is the Promotions Director at WCTL as well as a co-host of the Wake Up Call.  Elizabeth has been part of the WCTL family since 2011.  Before joining WCTL Elizabeth held a number of different jobs.  She says she has held “too many [jobs] to count.”  Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Susquehanna University and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Edinboro University.  Elizabeth currently lives in Erie with her husband Paul, son Alex and daughter Elise.  Elizabeth can be heard on WCTL on weekday mornings.

Favorite scripture verse
Psalm 46: 1-3
God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.

Why radio?  How did you get into radio?
I love performing, talking and music.  It seemed like the perfect job for me!

What is the best concert you have ever attended?
Carman at the Crawford County Fair or Nicole Nordeman at Erie First Assembly - it’s a toss up.

What hobbies do you have in your free time?
I like to garden, paint and upcycle old stuff.

What is your perfect day?
The perfect day is one that is warm and sunny where I spend time playing with my family, relaxing and eating dark chocolate!

What is your favorite TV show from your childhood?
Probably the Cosby Show

What is your favorite animated movie?
It’s not animated, but it’s my favorite, “The Princess Bride.”

What is your favorite thing to do in Erie?
I love to watch the sunsets on a warm summer evening.

What was your most embarrassing moment on air?
When I said “Mariah Carey” instead of “Moriah Peters!”

What is your fondest WCTL memory?
Being a witness to the movement of God on Friday during the 2012 Spring Sharathon.

What do you love about working here?
I have every woman’s dream job.  I get paid to laugh, talk and plan parties!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A singer and actress

Do you have any hidden talents that listeners might not know?
I love to paint.

What is your favorite non-scripture quote?
No one can go back and write a new beginning but anyone can go and write a new ending.

Any other fun facts that you want listeners to know?
My favorite things are Jesus, my family, Starbucks blended coffees, flowers, dark chocolate and WCTL listeners!
